Labor rates across Illinois vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Great customer service. Got my oil change & brakes & rotors repaired quickly. Easy to drop off my car & keys for them to start servicing first thing the next morning. Loyalty program is also great.

On June 10, 2026 I was participating in the HRPT 2026 tour that started in Joliet Illinois and ended in Tulsa Oklahoma in my 94 Camaro Z28 Convertible. While going through Lincoln Illinois my Low Oil Light came on. I pulled over and found out that I lost 3 quarts of oil in 78 miles. A older couple that was watching the cars go by took me to get oil. After not finding a lick I filled it up and continued on. I stopped at your location in Sherman Illinois and they were too busy but sent me to your location and said that an employee named Scott was the man that knew these cars. After getting to your location Scott put it on the lift and after a short time he called me out and said that he thought it was coming from the oil filter. After he removed it he found a small recessed area that looked like debris got on the gasket and caused the leak. While he was waiting for the new filter he whipped the oil off the underside of the car. After the new filter was added I paid my bill that was super fear and headed out. Scott and the manager was super friendly and helpful. I had no more oil leaks and made it home to Chattanooga on June 13, 2026 after driving a total of 2063 miles in 1 week. Tha

Outstanding! I brought my vehicle in for a tire issue, and 1 Stop delivered exceptional service from start to finish. They handled the repair quickly, communicated clearly, and treated me with a level of respect and care that really stood out. When I picked up my car , they noticed it had been on the receiving end of some roosting birds overnight and went out of their way to make it right, even though the situation wasn’t their fault. That kind of integrity and customer-first mindset can be hard to find! They also took a moment to acknowledge my military service, which I truly appreciated. l’ll absolutely be returning and I recommend them to others. Thank You, 1 Stop!
